About Us
501 (c)(3)
TVN (Trường Việt Ngữ) Thăng Long is a
non-profit, cultural organization incorporated
under the IRS Section 501 (c)(3) the laws of
the Commonwealth of Virginia for the
exclusive purpose of preserving and
promoting Vietnamese culture in the
Metropolitan-Washington area.
What we do
At Thăng Long Vietnamese Language School, we
provide classes that touch upon other
aspects of Vietnamese culture- not just the
language. Every week, students learn
to speak, read, and write in Vietnamese.
Respective to the class, other aspects of
Vietnamese culture are touched upon,
including history, art, music, and literature.
Our staff
As a 501(c)(3), our operation is built entirely
on volunteers. Each class has a
designated teacher as well as teacher
assistants. We ensure that our volunteers
are qualified to teach and assist in the
classroom- many of which have been here
and teaching for multiple years.
